Biographical Information

Erian Rodríguez has pitched in the minors.

The Chicago Cubs took him in the 13th round of the 2021 amateur draft, signing him for a $125,000 bonus. The scout was Greg Gerard. He was 2-2 with a 11.57 ERA in 11 games for the 2022 ACL Cubs, battling control issues. He went 5-6 with a 6.49 ERA for the 2023 Myrtle Beach Pelicans then split 2024 between Myrtle Beach (3-3, 3.29 in 13 G) and the South Bend Cubs (1-2, 3.52 in 11 G). He was better for South Bend in 2025 (6-4, 2.81 in 12 G) and made it up to AA with the Knoxville Smokies (2-1, 3.54 in 4 G).

He then made the Panamanian national team roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
