Eduy Mosqueda pitched for the Rojos de Candelaria in the Spanish Division de Honor. He pitched for the Spanish national team in the 1997 Intercontinental Cup, with a 19.29 ERA. In the 1998 Baseball World Cup, he was 0-1 with a 12.10 ERA and .500 opponent average in 9 2/3 IP. He took the loss against José Ibar and the champion Cubans. In the 1999 European Championship, he allowed six hits, five walks and five runs in 4 1/3 IP while throwing five wild pitches and striking out one. Only Jaime Lopez had a higher ERA for Spain.
He is presumably the player listed as Eddey Mosqueda who pitched for Spain when they won Bronze in the 1997 European Championship.
