East Georgia State College

East Georgia State College was known as Emanuel County Junior College until 1988 and East Georgia College until 2012. The school began sponsoring baseball in 2011. Richard Lovelady was the first alumnus to reach the major leagues. Kennard Dawson and Garrett Wilkinson also went here. As on January 1, 2026, East Georgia State is merging with Georgia Southern University and being renamed Georgia Southern University – East Georgia Campus.
