Christophe da Silva hit .167/.375/.222 for the French national team in the 1993 European Championship, fielding .933. He led the event's third basemen in fielding, .004 ahead of Andrei Protasov. ^[1] During the 1993 Intercontinental Cup, he backed up Antoine Alran at 3B and Lahcène Benhamida at 2B. He was 3-for-13 with 3 RBI and fielded .875. Despite his part-time role, he was third on France in RBI, behind Arnaud Fau and Jamel Boutagra. ^[2]
