Charlton Cijntije
(Redirected from Charlton Cijntje)
Charlton Cijntije was on the Netherlands Antilles national team in the 1986 Amateur World Series and 1987 Pan American Games. In the 1988 Baseball World Cup, he hit .304/.379/.391, .004 behind team leader Arthur Mari in average. He was 3-for-3 in steals and scored a team-high 7 runs in 11 games. In the outfield, he had 17 putouts, 2 assists and 2 errors. He later coached youth baseball. He is presumably the same person as the Charlton Cijntje listed with the team in the 1986 Central American and Caribbean Games.
