Alliant International University was formed in July 2001 by the merger of United States International University and the California School of Professional Psychology. U.S. International had formerly been called California Western University until 1968. The U.S. International baseball team was a Division-I Independent from 1986 to 1991. Alliant University no longer supports athletics (as of 2007) and is currently a graduate-level school.
