Aix Marseille Université traces its origins back to 1409, when the original Université d'Aix was founded in Aix-en-Provence. It was reconfigured in its current state in 2010 and has several campuses in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, which is France's second-largest city. Jean-Baptiste Meunier went here.
