    I love that on the last list it's only happened twice in 50+ years and it happened a week apart...

    Also, is it safe to assume it's supposed to have been 1954-2009? not 2000...

    Retrosheet has recently released and update and now goes continually back to 1952. What are bb-ref's plans for sync-ing with this update? Thanks.

    How do you strike out 6 batters and only through 15 strikes?

    Because the pitch count data is incomplete for that game. Good pick up Badenjr. It appears they have pitch data for the first 9 innings, and not for the 10th. Who knows why. Wakefield's 21 pitches were all in the 9th inning, when he struck out 4 batters.
