This is an interesting list.  Of course, it's since 1919.

  1. JcHc3in1 Says:

    Washington and Colorado in 2005: 18 baserunners in nine innings, but going 1-15 with RISP is a killer. Almost hard to believe that you can have that many baserunners and that many chances with RISP and come out with a big fat goose egg for runs.

  2. Kahuna Tuna Says:

    Okay, before anyone pops off about the 9/19/75 Angels-Twins game, let's get one thing out of the way: Bert Blyleven was a career 15-10 in 1-0 games.

  3. Morten Jonsson Says:

    @2

    But Joe Pactwa was perfect in 1-0 games. Joe Pactwa = clutch.

    JcHc3in1, the Washington-Colorado game you flagged also had 5 walks allowed by the Nationals' pitchers. So the Rockies had 18 baserunners, not including any reached on errors, without scoring a run. A statistical abberation to be sure.

  5. Steve Says:

    ot Can you guys bring back the batting orders?All the new stats are great but I miss that.

  6. JcHc3in1 Says:

    Neil, that's EXACTLY what I said...

    Sorry, JcHc3in1, didn't read carefully. I thought you were just remarking on the hits.
