The 2015 College World Series was played at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, NE from June 13 to June 24. Eight teams qualified for the tournament by winning their Regional and Super-Regional Tournaments. The University of Virginia (coached by Brian O'Connor) became the first Atlantic Coast Conference team to take the title since Wake Forest University back in 1955; a #3 regional seed, they barely made this year's ACC tournament before excelling in the postseason. Their 44 wins were the fewest by a national champion since the University of Southern California's 43 in 1968. Virginia reliever Josh Sborz was named the Most Outstanding Player.

The field was broken into two double elimination brackets of four team each.

Thomas Eshelman fans 8 and walks none for Vanderbilt before the rain delay. Today, though, Vanderbilt rallies, capped by Jeren Kendall's two-run game-ending homer off Tyler Peitzmeier.
	Game 5	Miami	4-3	Arkansas	Jacob Heyward hits two-run homer, scores in the 7th then drives in the game-winner in the bottom of the 9th. Bryan Garcia gets the win over Zach Jackson, who entered 5-0. Arkansas eliminated

June 16	Game 7	LSU	5-3	Cal State Fullerton	Alex Bregman raps four hits to help LSU rally from behind to win. Alex Lange improves to 12-0 on the year. CSU Fullerton eliminated
	Game 8	Vanderbilt	1-0	TCU	Philip Pfeifer and Kyle Wright combine on a five-hit shutout and Zander Wiel's 7th-inning homer provides all the offense. Alex Young had a no-hitter going until Wiel's dinger.
June 17	Game 9	Florida	10-2	Miami	Alex Faedo and two relievers four-hit Miami while Harrison Bader, Buddy Reed, Richie Martin and Peter Alonso all go yard for the Gators. It is the first game at TD Ameritrade Park with more than two home runs. Miami eliminated
June 18	Game 10	TCU	8-4	LSU	LSU eliminated
June 19	Game 11	Florida	10-5	Virginia	Florida stayed alive with a win over Virginia, whose ace Nathan Kirby was returning to action after nine weeks off and exited in the third due to a strict pitch count.
	Game 12	Vanderbilt	7-1	TCU	Walker Buehler fans 8 in 6 2/3 IP and allows one run to pitch Vanderbilt back to the title game to try to defend their 2014 title. TCU eliminated
June 20	Game 13	Virginia	5-4	Florida	Kenny Towns drives in three and Josh Sborz tosses four shutout innings of relief to run his streak to 23 and pick up the win to send Virginia to the finals. With one out in the 7th, Towns' sacrifice fly off Danny Lewis scores Ernie Clement with the winner. Florida eliminated
June 22	Game 1	Vanderbilt	5-1	Virginia	Carson Fulmer and two relievers team up on a four-hitter. Connor Jones blanks Vanderbilt for five innings before Will Toffey (previously 1 for 11) hits a two-run double.
June 23	Game 2	Virginia	3-0	Vanderbilt	Adam Haseley, starting his first game on the mound in a month, comes through with a gem, teaming with Josh Sborz on a shutout. Ernie Clement drives in Pavin Smith in the 6th for the first run off Phil Pfeifer, then Thomas Woodruff drives in two more for insurance.
June 24	Game 3	Virginia	4-2	Vanderbilt	Brandon Waddell holds the defending champs to two runs in seven innings then Nathan Kirby fans five in relief for his lone save of the year. Pavin Smith homered and drove in 3 to lead the Virginia offense as they win their first title. Virginia wins CWS
