He has had multiple seasons of note. In 2008, with the DSL Mariners, he went 5-1 with a 2.48 ERA in 15 games (12 starts). In 2010 - now in the Boston Red Sox organization after being traded as the player to be named later in a deal that sent utility man Bill Hall to Boston for first baseman Casey Kotchman - he went 4-2 with a 2.09 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) between the GCL Red Sox and Lowell Spinners. He won 10 games and started 27 for the Greenville Drive in 2011, with his 27 starts (and 140 2/3 innings) leading all Red Sox farmhands. He reached Triple-A for the first time in 2014, posting a 5.16 ERA in 16 relief appearances for the Pawtucket Red Sox, with whom he spent part of the season.
He began 2015 with Pawtucket.
