Mexico City, Distrito Federal

From BR Bullpen

(Redirected from Mexico City, Mexico)

Mexico City is the capital of Mexico and is one of the largest cities in the world in terms of population. The city is part of the Distrito Federal (Federal District in English) and not of any of the Mexican states.

There has never been a regular season Major League Baseball game played in Mexico City, although there have been a few played in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, further north, but because of its humongous population and large middle class, the city is seen by many as a potential site for future expansion.
