Biographical Information

The brother of Dooley Womack and Alfred Womack, Larry Womack pitched for the 1968 Oneonta Yankees. He was 3-4 with a 3.21 ERA in 18 games, 10 of them starts. Womack struck out 53 in 70 innings, walked 26 and allowed 64 hits. He just missed the top 10 in the New York-Penn League in ERA. He made one error in 18 chances in the field. At the plate, he was 3 for 24 with a double, triple, 4 RBI and 3 strikeouts.
