Joo-hwan Na has been the shortstop for the Korean Series champs in 2007 and 2008.
Na debuted with the Doosan Bears in 2003, appearing in 96 games but getting only 89 AB. He hit .152/~.262/.202. In 2004, he again played regularly (64 games) but did not get many at-bats (59); he batted .305/~.355/.450. By 2005, his playing time was picking up (99 G, 174 AB) and he hit .270/~.324/.339. In 2006, the Doosan shortstop hit .232/~.304/.322 in 233 AB over 114 games. That off-season, he moved to the SK Wyverns.
With SK, Na's playing time continued to rise. He played 117 games and had 284 AB in 2007, batting .243/~.306/.334 for the 2007 Korean Series champs. In 2008, he batted .247/.303/.332 and stole 14 bases in 19 tries as SK set a new Korea Baseball Organization single-season records for wins. They won the 2008 Korean Series.
