Biographical Information

John McGuinness had 275 at-bats in the majors spread among three separate stints in 1876, 1879, and 1884. He got most of his at-bats in the 1884 Union Association.

He was born in Ireland in 1857, the same year that Barney McLaughlin, Pat Deasley and Tony Cusick were born there.
