Biographical Information[edit]

The Kansas City Royals drafted David Noworyta out of high school in the 37th round of the 2014 amateur draft but he chose to attend college instead. After four years playing for the Rainbows he joined the Detroit Tigers minor league system in 2018 and played there through the 2019 season. After a year out of baseball due to COVID-19 he returned in 2021 with the Billings Mustangs of the independent Pioneer League. Billings had been a long-time affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds prior to the 2020 minor league reorganization by MLB.

Noworyta moved into the coaching ranks as assistant hitting coach of the Quad Cities River Bandits in 2022, bench coach of the Omaha Storm Chasers in 2023, and assistant hitting coach for Omaha in 2024. He became a manager with the Columbia Fireflies in 2025.
