Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Bill Krueger tied the Sooner State League mark when he scored 6 runs on July 1, 1950. It was a career year. In no other season did he top .290 or hit more than six home runs or 49 RBI. In 1950, he batted .349/~.455/.600 with 32 doubles, 21 home runs, 124 runs and 98 RBI in 114 games. Basically every starter of the Ada Herefords had impressive offensive statistics so the park may have been very hitter-friendly.

Krueger was out of baseball in 1951-1952; his playing career began in 1941 and ended in 1956.

Krueger ended his managerial career in his hometown of Salinas, CA, where he was the business manager of the Salinas Packers when manager Leo Thomas was sidelined by a bad back.
