We sure are! We’ll warn you right now—this blog post contains spoilers. But if you’re looking for a little help with today’s grid (or you already filled it out and want to know who else qualified) read on.

To fill out today’s grid, you need to choose a player who played for both the Nationals and Padres. There were 109 players who played with both Washington and San Diego. Here are some examples:

Geoff Blum

Geoff Blum became a hero to Chicagoans when he hit a solo home run in the 14th inning in Game 3 of the 2005 World Series to give the Chicago White Sox the win over the Houston Astros. He ultimately became the second player to hit a home run in the only World Series plate appearance of his career, after Jim Mason. In 14 seasons, Blum roamed all over the infield with six teams, batting .250 in 1,389 games. Counting the postseason home run, he accumulated 100 total, hitting 99 in the regular season with a personal best of 14 in 114 games as a member of the 2008 Houston Astros.

Dave Cash

Dave Cash was a second baseman and leadoff hitter for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, Montreal Expos and San Diego Padres from 1969 to 1980. A three-time All-Star, Dave was the man who replaced Pirates’ legend Bill Mazeroski at second base.

Willie Davis

Willie Davis was a star of the 1960s and 1970s who played eighteen years in the majors, mostly with the Los Angeles Dodgers. A two-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner, he also led the National League in triples twice during his career.

Xavier Nady

Xavier Nady hit .619 as a high school senior. The St. Louis Cardinals took him in the fourth round of the 1997 amateur draft, but he did not sign. The next year, he batted .404 and slugged .776. He was a second-team All-American at second base according to Baseball America, the only freshman on their three All-American teams. He was named the Baseball America Freshman of the Year and set University of California records for doubles (28) and slugging; they previously had been held by Jeff Kent and Kevin Maas and also set a school record with 173 total bases. He set a university freshman home run record (15) and was third in the Pacific-10 Conference in average, led in doubles and joined Erik Mattern as the All-Conference second basemen; Nady lost votes as he was also picked by some at shortstop.

Juan Soto

Juan Soto signed with the Washington Nationals as a 17-year-old before the 2016 season. He had a meteoric rise through the minor league ranks, getting off to a booming start by hitting .361 in 45 games for the GCL Nationals his first year. He was then promoted to the Auburn Doubledays where he hit .429 in 6 games. An injury then limited him to 32 games in 2017, but he made the most of these, as he hit .351/.415/.505 between the Gulf Coast League and the Class A Hagerstown Suns.

All 109 Players

You can see all 109 players who played with both Washington and San Diego on Baseball Reference.
