But if you\u2019re looking for a little help with today\u2019s grid (or you already filled it out and want to know who else qualified) read on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To fill out today\u2019s middle-right cell, you need to choose a player who won a Silver Slugger for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/teams\/SEA\/\">Seattle Mariners<\/a>. Here are some examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Julio Rodr\u00edguez<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/r\/rodriju01.shtml\">Julio Rodr\u00edguez<\/a> is the most recent Seattle Mariner to win a Silver Slugger, doing so in 2022. This was an additional honor on top of earning the AL Rookie of the Year and finishing 7th in AL MVP voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ichiro Suzuki<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mariners legend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/s\/suzukic01.shtml\">Ichiro Suzuki<\/a> won three Silver Sluggers during his time in Seattle. His first came in 2001, which was also his Rookie of the Year and MVP-winning campaign. The other two were achieved in 2007 and 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ken Griffey Jr.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All seven of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/g\/griffke02.shtml\">Ken Griffey Jr.<\/a>\u2019s Silver Slugger awards were won during his time with the Seattle Mariners, including four consecutive wins from 1996 to 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edgar Martinez<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career Seattle Mariners designated hitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/m\/martied01.shtml\">Edgar Martinez<\/a> won five Silver Slugger awards over the course of his career.
