All-Star Game All-Time Player Register

All-Star Game Player/Batting Register and Pitching Register

In our all-star feature post earlier today, a couple users suggested some all-time all-star registers, which seemed like a fine idea, so I've added a list of the other 1,000 players selected as all-stars. Career all-star stats are given as well. To find top individual game performances, check out the Play Index Batting Game Finder and Pitching Game Finder.

    Thanks Sean!

Is there any reason the all-star stats aren't on the player page? the same way post season stats are? it seems difficult to find out what x player did in the all star game in a certain year.

Click through on "more stats" just above pitching or batting stats. I put them there due to space concerns.

I looked at Lou Whitaker's cumulative All-Stat stats (my favorite player growing up), and I just realized he has a career cycle in All-Star games, in only 9 career plate appearances at that. A quick perusal showed he's in a group with Ernie Banks, Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, Ted Williams, Mike Schmidt, Steve Garvey, and George Brett. Put him in the hall of fame! :->

By playing around with the sorting and sharing feature, we can create a list of players with the most all-star selections without a start. As you would expect the list contains a lot of relievers led by Mariano Rivera. Removing the relievers provides us with an interesting list, including a surprise (at least for me) near the top.
