		<description><![CDATA[As I read it, 1-9 are 3 Black Sox, 3 stopped by injury/illness, and the trio of Will Clark, Ted Williams, and Barry Bonds.

Will Clark had nagging injuries and he couldn&#039;t hit left-handers at all in his final season.  Still. . . .  Did he retire because of injury or because he had so much money he could never spend it all?]]></description>
