Hundley caught at least 149 games 4 seasons in a row. The Cubs' collapse in '69 is sometimes attributed to their regulars' fatigue. (The '68 Cubs actually tied records for most players in at least 150 games and at least 160 games; the '69 team's starters played a bit less. I'm not sure if this was always Durocher's style or he just got too lazy to make changes all the time at the end of his career.) Hundley caught at least 1290 IP in those 4 straight seasons. Only one catcher has topped that in any of the past five years (Kendall in '08).

Hoping defensive leaderboards will be among the 10 for 10 updates....

Holy crap. Randy Hundley's streak includes a double-header. Looking at his game logs from that year, he caught both ends of a double header numerous times that year. Such a thing is unheard of today. A catcher who plays the first game is unlikely to even pinch-hit in the second game, much less actually catch.
