So I'm holding off projecting his number to a full-time player. But obviously some kind of switch may have went on this year.

That threw me. I assumed the player had to have at least 2 seasons with at least 2 teams. He only appeared in 1 season with the Tigers so I thought he didn't qualify.

He has been back-and-forth with Jose Bautista all year for the AL batting average leader.

What's wrong with his post-season appearance being in the NLDS with the Rays? 🙂

I would have been especially embarrassed if it turned out he played against the Phillies in the 2008 World Series or some other series. But it turns out that his postseason trip was with the Rays to the 2010 NLDS.
