Denver sponsored baseball from at least 1947 to 1999. The school was a member of the Mountain States Conference until 1962. UD competed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in 1993-1997. Jack Rose coached the team from 1961 to 1997. Most of Denver's other sports teams currently compete in the Sun Belt Conference until 2012-2013 when the school joins the Western Athletic Conference.
