Kuo-Min Lin has played for Taiwan in international competition. His brother has played in the CPBL.
Lin hit .292/.414/.292 for Taiwan in the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week. He then appeared in the 2008 World University Championship. He batted .292/.357/.458 as the Taiwan DH in the 2009 World Port Tournament. In the 2009 Asian Championship, he hit the 9th-inning game-winning double against South Korea to help Taiwan win a Silver Medal.
Lin also played in 2009 for the Sinon Bulls minor league team. He made it to the parent club in 2010.
