Joe Campbell played in only one game in his major league career. He started in right field and batted 7th for the Chicago Cubs on May 3, 1967 against the Atlanta Braves. All 3 of his at bats and strikeouts were against Dick Kelley.
He was at Morehead State University in 1963-65, the same years as Denny Doyle.
He spent most of 1966 at Greenville.
