[edit] Biographical Information
Catcher Joe Becker played two seasons for the Cleveland Indians and several more in the minor leagues. After serving in the Navy during World War II, missing 1944-1945, he managed in the minors for several years. He went on to serve as a pitching coach for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Chicago Cubs.
