Jason Pridie was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2nd round of the 2002 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Craig Weissmann and made his pro debut that summer.
Pridie's brother, Jon Pridie, played in the minors from 1998 to 2004.
