Hung-Sen Chu (朱鴻森)

Hung-Sen Chu began his professional career with the Brother Elephants in 2002, going 3 for 7. In 2003, he hit only .155/.215/.155 in 28 games. In 45 games in '04, the infielder improved to .242/.263/.297. He became a starter in 2005 and batted .224/.286/.265 while stealing 25 bases in 33 tries. In 2006, the 28-year-old hit .229/.295/.299. The next year, he was back to part-time duty and batted .183/.218/.220. In 2008, Chu improved to .277/.327/.330 and went 11-for-15 in steals. He fielded .978, his best yet to that point, and won the Gold Glove award at second base.
