Nicknamed "Goldie" because of his blonde hair, third baseman Goldie Rapp hit .335 with the St. Paul Saints in 1920 to narrowly win the American Association batting title over his teammate Bubbles Hargrave. He also stole 49 bases that year and drove in 83 runs despite not hitting any home runs. He went on to play in the majors from 1921 to 1923 and was the regular third baseman for the 1922 Philadelphia Phillies. He returned to the minors in 1924 and hit .325 for the Toledo Mud Hens. He later also played in the International League.
