[edit] Biographical Information

After attending high school in Wisconsin, infielder Gerald Aanonsen was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 39th round of the 1968 amateur draft. He played a total of 17 games in the lower reaches of their minor league system, in 1968 and 1969, never making it past the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League.
