Christiansted

Christiansted is a town on Saint Croix, one of the main islands composing the United States Virgin Islands. It is the former capital of the Danish West Indies and has a population of around 2,700.
Former major leaguers Jerry Browne, Midre Cummings and Henry Cruz were born here as was Negro Leaguer Alfonso Gerard and minor leaguer Geronimo Newton. Elmo Plaskett and Valmy Thomas died here.
