    I was "raised" in that baseball facility when it was know as Municipal Park Stadium. I was the batboy for the Carthage Cubs in 1951 and visiting team batboy in 1950.

    In fact, there is a plaque when you enter that stadium and the guy on it is the same one writing this message. I am the KOM League "historian" by default. I have written a 432 page book about it, publish the KOM League Remembered on a monthly basis and put out The KOM League Flash Report several times a week.

    There were 1588 KOM Leaguers from 1946-52 and I have located over 1200 or their survivors. Each year there is a KOM League reunion and the event for 2004 will be held in Columbia, Missouri June 3-5, 2004.
