    More than Yogi… -- 2003-01-20

The exhibits are great and not just about Yogi. I came in expecting a bunch of Yogi and 50's Yanks memorabilia but they had cases on David Cone, baseball cards, baseball history, the Gashouse Cardinals, the current Yankees, and even the All Century Team. These cases had tons of photos, unique memorabilia and lots of facts. Good for the baseball expert and a firsttimer. I especially liked the "Yogi and Pop Culture" display. It featured Yogi Bear stuff and various Yogi endorsements.

Also, the souvenir stand is incredibly cheap…a Yogi autographed card sells for $10-15. Yogi and Musial signed photo goes for $75 i think. Considering Yogi is a HOFer and 3x MVP, that's pretty good value.

    Ice Cream Rush -- 2002-07-10

Yogi Berra Stadium seems like a great place for young families. The Jackal mascot is quite active and the kids love him. The quality of play is somewhat sloppy, particularly the fielding. I attended the game with a group of a dozen friends, and we enjoyed the game against Quebec. The one luxury box that I guess is held for Yogi, seems a waste of space, because it sat empty that night, when there are plenty of underprivieged kids in the area who would apprecaite tickets to a game.

The surronding area, Montclair State University is safe. The park has a good number of food selections like most minor league teams and are priced a little high. There is an ice cream stand there, Applegate Farms, and after the games the baseball crowd crushes the Applegate ice cream store in Clifton.

    Worth the Trip! -- 2002-07-09

A great little museum located on the campus of Montclair State University. It has plenty of great displays and since it's small you can take your time and look at the displays without suffering from information overload! Make sure you combine your trip with a New Jersey Jackals game. This independent Northern League team plays in the Yogi Berra Stadium adjacent to the museum.

    Outstanding -- 2001-10-30

This is a hidden gem of a baseball museum. It has a great history of Yogi and the New york Yankees. There are quite few suprices here also from baseball memrobilia to the very good chance of seeing Yogi himself at the museum. It is a must see not only for the Yankee fan but any baseball fan.
