    Appleby's Park -- 2003-06-25

    We love the park and the atmosphere! There is so much enthusiasm and fun there! The meatball sandwhiches are the best! Only one thing, for much of the season it is cool at nights. We bought Legend's t-shirts, but would love the opportunity to purchase sweatshirts.

    Heck of a park for Single-A -- 2001-06-10

    Applebees Park, home of the Lexington Legends, is a really nice park for a Single-A team. The seats were all extremely close to the field, parking was relatively close, the scoreboard had full video capabilities, and the bullpens were literally right next to the seating, allowing for fan-player interaction. The only negatives were a playful, family atmosphere (a carousel, video game arcade) and some "seating" that was really nothing more than grass with a railing right in your plane of vision. The food was also a bit pricey, and there was the usual extremely annoying "goofball squad" used to fire up the crowd between innings. All in all, though, a nice park for a single-A team.
