Great couple of hours -- 2002-12-12

After finding the museam, which isn't always easy with the local signage, I spent an enjoyable couple of hours at the museum. It has it all -- audio, video, newspaper clippings, etc., etc. It's a great education. The baseball diamond in the center is the coolest feature.

    The museum -- 2001-11-03

If you are in Kansas City and like baseball, history or anything in between, do not miss this museum. Buck O'Neill has played a healthy role in putting together the museum, so its authenticity and accuracy can't be questioned. From old photos, contracts, scorecards and equipment, to a room honoring the nine best (one at each position) Negro League ballplayers to ever take the field, this is an amazing place to spend a day. And you might even run into O'Neill.
