    History: Pioneer Night League in Nebraska -- 2007-04-05

    I am looking for some information about the Pioneer Night BaseBall League that was active in Eastern Nebraska from the first half of the 1900's until 1956, when it disbanded. I played for David City in the league's last two years. League members included Coumbus, Schuyler, Wahoo, Fremont, and other in various years. Do you have any idea where I might get some information on the hostory and activities of this league? (publications, archive, interviews, etc). Thank you. Lane Birkel
