    Nice Stadium -- 2002-07-14

I've been going to Indians games ever since I can remember. Overall, Avista Stadium is a very nice stadium. But there is one problem...it's kind of out of the way from parts of Spokane, especially the north side. It takes me about a half hour to get there, and Spokane is not that big of a town. Other than that, the grounds crew keeps the park in great shape, and the ticket prices are at $4 for adults, $3 for kids, seniors, etc. in the bleachers. The parking lot is right there so you don't have to walk far to get to the park unlike some other stadiums. The food is decent, and the staff is very friendly. If anyone is looking for something to do in Spokane, this is a great way to spend a summer evening.

    A Beauty of a Park -- 2001-07-02

I've been going to Spokane Indian games for the last 10 years. About three years ago I got my first multi-game package (7 games) for my wife and myself. Since then I've added a few additional tickets to take friends along as well. Avista Stadium is a beautiful little place. It holds up to 9,000 folks. I like the fact that it's really well kept up and a very comfortable place. For $7 I get a great seat and can enjoy (in most seasons) a winning team. It's been fun the last few seasons, I'm looking forward to more games in 2001.

My favorite day of this short season league is the Businessman's Special. It's the one time a year where we get to go to a day baseball game.
