Who needs the major leagues? -- 2002-09-02

Jackals games are always fun ... the quality of baseball is very good, you're right on top of the action, and the staff of Yogi Berra Stadium goes to great lengths to make sure everyone has a good time. Box seats cost $8.00, Reserved (bench) seats $6.00, and sitting on the lawn (on a hill along the right field foul line) costs a mere $4.00. Programs and food are inexpensive, and there are always players available to sign autographs for the kids before games. We always have a great time, and it's cheaper than going to the movies. Forget about those millionaire cry-babies in the majors ... these guys love to play!

Visit Jack the Jackal & Yogi Too! -- 2002-07-09

The NJ Jackals play in the Yogi Berra stadium located on the campus of Montclair State University in Little Falls, NJ. I had a great time at the Jackals game; the stadium is nice and the it's a great trip when you combine the game with a visit the Yogi Berra Museum with is located next to the stadium.

Seats are cheap $8 & $6. I recommend the $8 box seat over the $6 metal benches ( with backs).

The only things I did not were the high prices of the gift shop and the proximity of the seats to the field. You really have to be on your toes in case a foul ball comes your way.
