    Stadium Review for 2003 -- 2003-09-20

    Overall Rating: A

    Facility A

Located on the grounds of North Dakota State. Only down side is the $2 parking fee. The stadium is clean and classy. The Maury Wills museum on the first floor is worth a visit. Good kids area down the first base line.

    Atmosphere A

The staff is friendly and works hard to entertain the fans.

    Value A

Ticket prices are good. The top of the line ticket is $8.50; Reserve seats are $6.50 and Grandstand seats go for $5. Food is wonderful and the variety is great. A must visit. Odds and Ends

A staff member goes to the storage area upstairs from the gift store to find a team set from the previous year so I can purchase it. We appreciate that effort and desire to please. Then when asked about what is good to eat they send us to the taco stand for a taco in a bag. I know it will be good when several young staff members are already in line.

I go to get some autographs from the visiting team. I don't have any autographs from Winnipeg and like to have players sign my scorebook. Every game my wife and I go to I score. It is a great way to remember the games we have been to. A staff member tells me that I cannot cross a yellow line that runs along the third base line to get autographs, stadium policy she tells me. She continues. “It is for the mental health of the visiting team players.” I find a staff member who apologizes for the misunderstanding, quick response and great rebound. Maybe one out of ten fans will complain, most won't come back. Great to see a management team that is dedicated to giving the fans great entertainment.

This is a first class organization with a great staff and we will return.

    Newman Outdoor Field -- 2002-03-15

This is a beautiful outdoor field. No bad seats in the place and full of excellent facilites and good food! Nice place to spend a summer evening. Home of one of the best Northern League teams, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Tickets are very reasonable and the baseball is of a decent level.
