as usual wheelchair patrons get short-changed -- 2005-07-30
With all the money spent on the Joe Bruno stadium you would think they could afford drink holders at the seating locations for those of us who use wheelchairs...there are drink holders all through the "regular" seating but NONE at the wheelchair seating locations. I have complained to the baseball club and the county executive and nothing has gotten done about this.

Rain Date Ticket -- 2003-08-21
To Whom It May Concern:
On July 24, 2003 I arrived at the Joe, purchased a ticket and entered the stadium. Shortly afterward the game was postponed and an announcement made that all tickets would be honored at any future game. I did not examine the ticket beyond obtaining the set assignment.
On August 19, 2003 I attempted to trade this ticket in for admission. I was told that the game on JULY "25TH" was not a postponed game and the ticket stub was returned to me. The ticket agent was right on two counts, there was a doubleheader on the "25th", and my ticket displayed the date of the 25th.
Although he was polite I was embarassed nonetheless.
I can assure you I did not go to you facility on July 25th nor did I attempt to commit a larceny on August 19th. After leaving the diamond on the 24th I placed the ticket stub over the visor in my truck and there it remained until my attempt to redeem it on August 19, 2003.
I can not account for a wrong date on the ticket, can you?
Sincerely,
G.T. Darby

Tri-City Valley Cats -- 2002-08-12
The Valley Cats play on the brand new Joseph Bruno Stadium on the campus of the Hudson Valley Community College. The "Joe" as it is called, is impressive; great sitelines and wide open concorses make it a very comfortable place to see a game. Make sure you get a seat on the third base side or the sun can be brutal.
