Our first of many minor league visits -- 2001-09-07
When my wife and I decided to make a hobby of minor league baseball, Auburn was our first stop. I'm eager to go back and see if it would still have that magic. Our Auburn game was a Sunday afternoon affair, and we loved it. Lots of families, and everyone having a great time---and, paying a fair amount of attention to the game on the field! Nothing since has matched the betrween-inning promotion sponsored by Indelicado's Meat Market, whose name led to wonderful visions of the guy in the apron with a cleaver. Ball park is in a very nice uncrowded neighborhood with free parking.

Cheap Fun -- 2001-06-06
I've been to Falcon Park in Auburn, NY many times while I was a student at Syracuse University. Dollar for dollar, it's as much fun as I've ever had at professional baseball games. Parking is easy and free, and every Thursday evening was Dollar Game Night. One dollar tickets, beers, and hot dogs meant I was buzzed, stuffed and entertained for well under $10. It was also a great seat, with modern new seating and not a seat far from the field of play. One piece of advice: don't park on the parking lot adjacent to the field, park across the street , instead. I've never seen so many cars get hit by late swinging lefties in my life (including my ex-girlfriend's).
