History was made here -- 2005-06-30
McDonough Park, formerly Shuron Park, is where Pete Rose, Hall of Famer Tony Perez, Bill Madlock, Jamie Moyer and Steve Trachsel played their first professional baseball games in the NY-Penn League. The college players you will see come from all over the U.S. and may well be tomorrow's stars. I encourage you to spend a summer night at this ballpark. Admission is only $2.

I would like to welcome those visiting this site and viewing information about the Geneva Red Wings. The Red Wings play a 49 game schedule in the NYCBL (New York Collegiate Baseball League). The NYCBL is a summer college wood bat league. Geneva plays it's games in historic McDonough Park in Geneva, NY in both June and July, playoffs are the beginning of August. If you are vacationing in the Fingerlakes, come on out and see us!
