    Grass in 2008 -- 2007-07-15

Starting in the 2008 season, Alliance Bank Stadium will be equipped with a brand new grass field...way better than the old turf and it should create a better environment. I'm also impressed with all the improvements the organization is making. Just this year they already have a new logo, a new mascot, and are contantly making new visual improvements in and out of the stadium.

Great Value... especially on the third base side -- 2004-07-21

Poeple in town might not care about the team, but this is baseball played at its highest level this side of the majors. And for $7, you get a seat practically on top of the field. Best value for any sporting event in town. The stadium itself is fairly new, but cold and lifeless; the real, old-fashioned artificial turf is ugly and cools the atmosphere, but it's still Triple-A ball with guys either a step from making the Majors or newly-removed from playing with the big club. And for an evening game, try and sit on the third base side; on the first base side you'll get a face full of the setting sun for the first 4 innings or so.

Best Bargain in Town -- 2001-08-10

Find me another place in town where you can go and be entertained in a relaxing, convienient, spacious and smoke free facility for 2-3 hours for as little as $4.00 per person. Let me tell ya a little secret, Unless it's a high attendance night, a G.A. ticket is all you need to get in, and without acting like a jerk, you can slip into any lower level seat and enjoy fantastic seating up close to some pretty darn good baseball. Take your kid and a $20. bill, thats all you need, you'll be a hero !

    Thanks for the Box

Baseball at its best -- 2001-07-20

Okay so they have plastic grass, but take away that and you have minor league baseballs best kept secret. From the ushers to the fans this is an ideal place to watch a game and the ticket prices are wonderful(Highest price ticket is $7). There is not a bad seat in the house and The Sky Chiefs go above and beyond to give the place a major league feel in a monor league park.

    Not a bad place.... -- 2001-07-08

Once you get past the plastic grass, P/C isn't a bad place to catch a game. Unless you plan to keep score, that is. I graduated from SU a year ago, so I got to see quite a few games there, and I can't even count back the number of times pinch-hitters or new pitchers got into the game without the slightest word from the stadium announcer. It happens 2-3 times a night, and makes things very difficult for people who consider keeping score to be as much a part of baseball as anything.

    Where to sit -- 2001-02-24

This is a great little park to go to to see quality minor league baseball... it is recently new and there are almost always good seats available. If you are going to see a game and you sit on the first base side the sun will be directly in your eyes for the first couple innings (until it sets). The flip side of this is that the third base side is much colder as it is not directly in the sun. Very affordable and pleasant atmosphere though!
