Community Easter Egg Hunt.. -- 2004-04-11

Our community Easter Egg Hunt has been moved from the local park to the gracious hosts of the Manatee Ball Field. They wanted to give back to the community and thought this would be a great way of showing so. Unfortunately, the local park was free. Now all must pay $1.00 entrance fee to allow our children the privilege to hunt for Easter Eggs. It's great they wanted to give to the community, but I wouldn't exactly say this was "giving". Maybe I'm wrong, and they are "giving" the $1.00 a head donations back to the community. But I haven't seen where in the last 2 years. Thanks

Great place to see a game. Nice Stadium, good prices and great promotions!

    Parking -- 2003-04-19

    I would like to know:

How come your ballpark charges a parking fee for fans to park their vehicles out in a dusty, undeveloped area north of the stadium? Please come up with a good explanation, as for my situation, it is just as easy for me to trip on down to Holman Field to watch the Vero Beach Dodgers, or, to drive just a little further to watch the Hammerheads play at Roger Dean in Jupiter, which is TRULY a terrifc ball field? Thankyou for reading my request.

    Nice little park -- 2001-09-05

I've been a few times. If you really like minor league baseball, you'll like this park. Its very small and you can prop your feet up on the dugout for about $5 a ticket. Food is decent and priced ok. The field itself is in great condition (Marlins spring trainning stadium). They always seem to have some fun/unique promotions between innings. The only bad thing about Space Coast Stadium is that it is a little difficult to find. You might want to call for directions first.
