    No scorecards -- 2005-04-20

For those of you who like to keep score, there are no scorecards readily available to keep score. I think they print like 10 for the first 10 programs and that's it. Major dissapointment in my book. Other than that, it is a wonderful Minor League expierence.

    First-class experience from first-class franchise -- 2003-08-25

Trenton was a fantastic experience for my family. We got there at 4 to take a 4:30 tour of the Yankee memorabilia in the Yankee Conference Center (free with tickets, $2 to charity otherwise although they don't collect it and never mentioned it), and avoided paying $1 for parking b/c we arrived so early. The tour was limited in terms of the collection (about 25 of B Halper's items on loan) but the guide was nice and it was airconditioned. The tour takes about 45 mins, leaving another 45 before the gates opened, a time that can be spent along the piers by the Delaware River right outside rightfield.

Tickets are cheap but go quickly especially on the fireworks night so buy on the web ahead of time.

The food is good and not too expensive. There's a $1 kids stand behind first base, and other highlights include $4 funnel cake (toppings are 50c each), $4.50 hot roast beef w/side veggies and a $2.50 fruit cup.

The Thunder also come up with good entertainment. The Stanley Cup, Clete Boyer and Frank Howard have all appeared recently, and the free goodies are abundant.

    In short, a must-see!

    Parking -- 2002-07-18

Parking used to be a big hassle at Waterfront park. Now they are building a really nice parking garage. Multi tiered!

The Thunder are cool and it's a beaute of a ballpark. A must visit if you're in the area.

Nice Park, Good Games -- 2001-08-12

Trenton's ballpark is a nice one with good, cheap concessions, a wide covered concourse and easy access to the stadium and parking. The picnic areas are solid.

Best of all, the gameplay is very good in Trenton and they have a history of getting good MLB players rehabbing there. Jon Valentin and Bret Saberhagen are just two. And hey, it's Nomar's home turf.

Trenton is a nice minor league ballpark to visit and is easy to get to from I95/195.

    Great Family Fun!!!! -- 2001-05-23

I went to see the Thunder this year for the second year in a row. My family & I were guests of my cousins Cub Scout troop. The kids & I had a great time. Great ballpark! Very affordable for food, souveniers and tickets. We also saw good quality baseball. John Valentin Was doing a rehab assignment while we were there.Truly a terrific value for the family.I am now a real big fan of minor league baseball. Our family plans on going to other parks during this Summer. It's better entertainment then a movie.

Very Nice AA Park -- 2000-09-21

Trenton has a really nice AA park. It has a covered concourse area, that isn't away from the field, but overlooks all of the stands, and I think they have better food choices than Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia does. It was raining hard when I went, but it was still enjoyable. Parking was $1 and I must have been miles from the stadium, but I got there right at game time.
