Living in Binghamton I attend alot of games at NYSEG Stadium. The Staduim is very clean, good ticket prices (if your from the area theres always buy one get one free coupons to be had). If not ticket prices are 8 and 7 not bad at all. Also $1 hot dogs and programs are a plus. The field itself is beautiful, i believe for a few years it has been rated the nicest field in the Eastren League. Also the Mets always have some of their top prospects in Binghamton Jose Reyes and David Wright for example played here in Binghamton within the last year. So if your in Binghamton id say go to a game, you will be glad you did.

    It's alright -- 2002-11-30

I live near Binghamton and I think that NYSEG Stadium really isn't all that bad. The team on the other hand is sad.

    Very nice park -- 2002-07-11

I don't know what the last person is talking about. NYSEG stadium is clean, the seats are comfortable, the sightlines great and the management is very fan oriented. It is a great baseball experience. It is hard to find though so make sure you get directions from their website.

    Good People -- 2001-12-26

This account may be biased, as the last four innings of the game I saw was played in a driving rainstorm, for no good reason (the Mets were winning and eventually did win big.) I thought the Binghamton stadium was all right, nothing special, but that the fans and staff were knowledgeable, helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. The stadium is not all that easy to get to for an out-of-towner and I found the immediate neighborhood a little seedy. The stadium itself is older and kind of grubby under the stands, although the seating area is clean and neat. The seats were great and plentiful, and crowds shouldn't be much of a problem. I enjoyed my game at Binghamton (except for the rain), but I don't see any reason to make the special trip to go again.

    Pleasant evening -- 2001-09-07

I can't think of a more pleasant way to spend an evening than watching a baseball game at NYSEG stadium in Binghamton, New York. You are much closer to the action than you would ever be at a major league park, and every game has it's sparkling plays. This season, hot dogs were only $1.00! And to top off the usual ballpark food fare are spiedies! Spiedies are the local signature food item - marinated chunks of chicken (pork or whatever), grilled on the barbie and served in a hoagie roll. Mmmm good. Don't miss them, and don't miss seeing the Binghamton Mets play.

Binghamton seems to be one of the more baseball purist oriented stadiums in the Eastern League. During our visit there were few between inning games or children's activities, and most of the attention was actually on the field. Seating is generally good no matter where you sit and parking is convenient, either in city lots or along streets. Several quaint shops in town serve a variety of foods from Chinese to Mexican to Italian, which serevs as an alternative to ballpark food. All-in-all, Municipal Stadium was one of the better Eastern League parks around.
