San Bernardino -- 2001-06-12
The Ranch is a well-designed park. The seats down the lines aren’t so good, but you can always get a ticket between the dugouts and sit up a little higher. The inside of the park is beautiful and even the food is better here than most places. There’s a small group of fans/boosters who sit down behind the plate on the third base side and ride the umpires and opposition all night while drinking like college students, but they’re not too hard to stay away from. One great thing about this place that has Lake Elsinore and Rancho beat is that you can actually see the pitchers warm up, because the bullpens are open areas just behind first and third base. Next to Elsinore it's my favorite Cal League park.
