Good Prices, Good Fun -- 2005-01-08
My family and I go to the Patriots games three to four times a summer. The prices are great. The concession food is very good and the pricing is not bad. It is very comparable to going out for dinner or to the movies. Compared to the Major Leagues its not even close. Here is what I paid at Yankees stadium recently, $8 for a 16 oz. beer, $4 for a pretzel, $4.50 for a Hot Dog, $4.25 for a soda. At the Patriots game it wouldn't be anywhere close to that. I love the minor leagues... my kids don't care if it is Derek Jeter or John Doe playing. They love the promotions, music and mascots.

Family Fun -- 2004-08-16
The Patriots are a lot of fun for young kids to watch. The baseball can be a bit lean but kids don't care. The stasium is easy to get to and the food is pretty good and cheap compared to the Big Leagues.

Ballpark Food -- 2003-03-31
Pricey food and drinks?
Went to see one of their games in 2001. Thought the prices were very good - compared to Yankee Stadium, etc.
Until you pay $4 for a bottle of WATER (like you do in the Bronx), no way would I call their charges "pricey."
Did they go up a lot since 2001?

Commerce Bank Ballpark: Home of the Somerset Patriots -- 2002-08-30
The Commerce Bank Ballpark is the home of the Atlantic League's Somerset Patriots. It's a very nice place to see a ballgame. Former MLB stars Spary Lyle & John "The Count" Montefusco are the Patriots manager and pitching coach.
I have agree with the comments with the food prices being high (eat before you arrive) and the 200 level seats being better because the ball doesn't blend it with the white advertisements on the outfield. Also, instead of paying $2.00 for parking, you can park in the Target and Home Depot lot for free and appears easier to exit from there after the game.

Fun For the Family -- 2001-06-27
We have attended a few games while visiting with my parents. My children, ages 6 and 4, love all the entertainment especially the antics of Sparkee, the mascot. It is a great family outing which does not cost much and we all enjoy. My husbands likes to watch the game!

A Great Place -- 2001-06-08
I take my 2 boys (5 & 3) there all the time. We love it. Tickets are $12, $9, $8, and $5 for GA in grass section. All of the 6000 seats have a great view. Ive found its best to sit in the upper sections behind 1st or 3rd base ($8). When you sit down low, its hard to track the ball as it blends into the crowd and all the advertising.
They play good baseball. All the players who are picked up go, most go to AAA, some to AA.
The tix prices are good, just eat before you go. As I tell everone, the ticket prices are minor league, but the food prices are major league.
