Great Park; Great Day out -- 2008-05-13

Campbells Field is a great place to watch a game. Most Fridays they have free fireworks after the game, and on Sundays they have free ice cream for all fans on the field. Tickets are still affordable (some are as low as $5) and parking is only $3. Another nice touch is that after each home victory, the players through "victory balls" into the stands, which are soft baseballs with the Riversharks logo on them. Good free souveneir if you can catch one! I've already been once this season (2008), and plan on going a few more times.

Affordable and exciting entertainment -- 2004-04-30

The Riversharks are an excellent way to spend your leisure time whether you are a baseball fan(like me) or just someone who enjoys an outdoor activity to take the kids or go with friends. The field is absolutely the best in the league and the players really give the fans their money`s worth. So if your in the mood to do something different, take in a Riversharks game. You`ll be glad you did!!! GO SHARKS!!!!!

    Come to Camden -- 2003-05-17

Campbell's Field is a great place to watch a ballgame!! Forget what you here about Camden, too. The waterfront is well lit, police and security guards are ever visible. The Tweeder Center, The Garden State Aquarium and The Battleship New Jersey are only a few of the nearby attractions. But the ballpark is the Best. $2 parking, affordable food and admission along with great promos (free fireworks on Fridays). I can't say enough. See you there.

    A fine place -- 2002-12-09

I went to about 20 games here in the 2002 season. It is a great park for viewing a game. The food is overpriced but OK.

Hard work pays off -- 2001-08-15

This is a stadium worth visiting. Camden has built quite a poor reputation, but Campbell's Field is a great addition to the riverfront. Most problems at the park are simply the result of the construction company not making the park safe for inhabitance until a few days before opening day. Things will get smoother as time goes on. The field itself is top notch. You won't find much better field conditions at a non-major league park. The front office operations staff is also excellent. During a game, you can always find them running around to keep everything under control, but also taking the time to let the fans know how much they are appreciated. This is a great place to casually watch a baseball game for a low price. The result isn't quite as important as a major league game, or even an NA minor-league game, but the players are out there giving it their all.

I have been to about six games this year, the Riversharks have lost each one, and I have had an enjoyable time each visit. It's a great place for younger kids, with plenty of room to walk around, a play area and lot of between inning events. There are no bad seats and the view from the stadium is beautiful and becoming more so as landscaping is completed. The only drawbacks are that ticket and concession windows are sometimes disorganized, although this ameliorated by the pleasant attitudes of almost everyone working there, and that it is difficult to reach by public transportation. This is not important on most days, since parking is usually plentiful and cheap ($2), but when there is an event at the Tweeter Center traffic can back up quite a bit. It would be convenient if there were some sort of shuttle to the PATCO stations, which are pretty nearby, but not quite enough to enourage people to walk.

Pretty Nice Atmosphere, Great Seats for Reasonable Price, Fan Friendly -- 2001-06-07

River Sharks Stadium seats about 7,000 fans. It is situated on the Delaware River, just south of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (built in 1926 and longest suspension bridge in world in 1926). Atmosphere was great with fair prices, easy and very inexpensive parking. The team hustled and the management is trying hard to be fan friendly. Found it much more enjoyable than watching most major league games because the "ripoff" prices were not in effect. I do not believe in being "gouged" when I watch a baseball game. Can you believe in Philadelphia at Vet Stadium water was $3.75? Come on folks. Get smart. In Philly I felt like a real sucker with the $7 sandwiches and high parking fees. Camden was nice. Best part was the beautiful view of the Ben Franklin Bridge after the sun went down and the great scenery offered by the skyline of Philadelphia across the river. I highly recommend seeing a game at the River Sharks Stadium. I can assure you I will be there before I will be at another major league game.

Getting to the park -- 2001-05-01

I haven't been to this park, but it is brand new this year and on the Delaware River just across from Philadelphia (I believe there is even ferry transport to and fro). It is also near the New Jersey Aquarium, which I also haven't been to, but I hear good things about.
